Detroit Red Wings at Arizona Coyotes: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Mike Rizzo
The Detroit Red Wings wrap up their short two game road trip tonight as they face the Arizona Coyotes. The Red Wings are coming off a loss to the Avs.
The Detroit Red Wings head to Arizona tonight to face the Coyotes. The Red Wings lost an embarrassing game last night to the worst team in the NHL. The Red Wings lost to the Colorado Avalanche 3-1 last night. Andreas Athanasiou scored the only goal for the Red Wings. The good news is this loss improved the Red Wings odds in the draft lottery.
More good news is that the Coyotes won last night so now they’re only three points behind the Red Wings. The Coyotes are coming into tonight’s game winners of three straight games. The Coyotes, like the Red Wings, are playing for next season.
This game is big for the Red Wings because a loss will put the Coyotes only a point behind them. A win on the other hand would be pretty meaningless.
With Jimmy Howard starting last night, Petr Mrazek most likely will start tonight. Mrazek has struggled lately but once again I place a lot of that blame on that poor Red Wings defense.
