The Michigan basketball team takes on Oklahoma State in the NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon. Here’s how you can watch March Madness on TV or streaming online.
The Michigan basketball team will begin their NCAA Tournament campaign with a first round game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Friday afternoon. The Wolverines enter March Madness as a No. 7 seed while Oklahoma State comes in as a No. 10 seed.
Michigan earned the trip to the NCAA Tournament as the automatic qualifier out of the Big Ten Conference. The Wolverines won the conference tournament with a fantastic and emotional run — that included playing a game in their practice uniforms — after the team was involved in a plane accident on the way to the tournament.
Oklahoma State comes in as an at-large selection after falling to Iowa State in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals last week. The Cowboys finished the regular season with a 20-12 overall record and finished fifth in the Big 12 with a 9-9 conference mark.

Today’s matchup should feature plenty of scoring. According to the KenPom Ratings, Oklahoma State is the most efficient offense in the country (scoring nearly 1.25 points per possession) while Michigan is the fifth most efficient offense (scoring about 1.22 points per possession). Michigan gets better marks on the defensive end, however, and looks to be a slight favorite by the metrics.
