The Detroit Red Wings face the Montreal Canadiens tonight in Montreal. The Red Wings lost 2-1 last night to the Buffalo Sabres.
Petr Mrazek got the start for the Red Wings last night so most likely Jimmy Howard will get the start tonight.
Tomas Tatar scored for the third straight game so he stayed hot. Petr Mrazek was also very good as he stopped 28 of the Sabres 30 shots. But Jack Eichel was to much for the Red Wings. Eichel is the type of player the Red Wings need in this years draft to make this rebuild quicker.
Tonight the Red Wings face the Carey Price and the Montreal Canadiens, who have won eight of their last 10 and two straight. The Canadiens are looking to beat the Red Wings for the third time this season, although the Red Wings won the last meeting 1-0 back in January.
This is the final trip to Montreal for the Red Wings in this awful season. The Red Wings will be without Darren Helm again tonight. Helm missed last nights game due to a leg injury he suffered on Saturday. The season can’t end soon enough for this team.
