Detroit Red Wings vs. Minnesota Wild: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Mike Rizzo
The Detroit Red Wings begin a very rare three games in three day stretch this afternoon against the Wild. The Red Wings lost 2-1 to Tampa on Friday.
The Detroit Red Wings kickoff a three game in three day stretch this afternoon. The Red Wings welcome the Wild to the Joe today in a game that was originally scheduled for 7:00pm.
This game was moved due to the fact that the Red Wings will play a makeup game in Carolina the next day.
The Minnesota Wild come into today’s game struggling. The Wild have lost ten of their last 13 games including a 4-2 loss last night at home to Vancouver.
Even with this slump, the Wild will still be in the playoffs this season. The Red Wings on the other hand are going to miss the playoffs for the first time in 25 years.
The only question left for the Red Wings is how much further will they fall in the standings. Currently the Red Wings are the second worst team in the East.
The Wild look to sweep the Red Wings in the season series this afternoon. Minnesota won the first game 6-3 in one of the worst games Jared Coreau played.
No starter has been announced for today’s game but it will not be Coreau. It will either be Jimmy Howard or Petr Mrazek.
After today’s game the Red Wings will only have four more games left at the Joe.
