Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox: Game time, lineup, TV, radio, live stream
By Matt Snyder
The Detroit Tigers continue their series with the Chicago White Sox on Saturday afternoon. Here’s how you can watch the game on TV or streaming online.
The Detroit Tigers couldn’t solve Mike Pelfrey and the Chicago White Sox on Friday night, falling to the Soutsiders by a 7-3 final score. Pelfrey wasn’t great — four walks and three runs allowed in 4.2 innings pitched — but the Tigers couldn’t continue to break through against the Chicago bullpen.
Matt Boyd went seven innings for the Tigers and allowed just three runs before yielding to the Tigers’ bullpen. The White Sox would score four runs off of Tigers relievers in the final two innings, but things might have played out differently if shoddy defensive work didn’t give Chicago so many chances in the seventh inning.
The Tigers are in danger of falling below the .500 mark for the first time this season. They’ll need to win on Saturday to stay above that threshold.
Anthony Fenech passed along today’s lineup on Twitter.
