The Detroit Tigers head to Chicago to play the White Sox in a four game series. Here’s how you can watch the games on TV or streaming online.
The Detroit Tigers will play four games against the Chicago White Sox this weekend that will include three games inside a 24-hour window. They’ll play two games on Friday night — a doubleheader to make up a game that was rained out during opening week — and then an afternoon game on Saturday.
The Tigers and White Sox will both call up pitchers from the minor leagues to make spot starts during Friday’s doubleheader. Buck Farmer will start game one for the Tigers and Tyler Danish will start game two for the White Sox.
The Tigers will go up against old friend Mike Pelfrey in the first game. Pelfrey has started six games for the White Sox and carries a 4.85 ERA.
Matt Boyd will start game two against rookie Tyler Danish. Danish appeared in three games out of the bullpen last season for the White Sox but will be making his season debut tonight after beginning the year in AAA.
[UPDATE:] Game one of Friday’s doubleheader has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday instead.
