The Detroit Lions are not known for having many great receivers. If anything, the team is known for all of the busts drafted by Matt Millen at wide receiver during the 2000s.

However, even apart from Calvin Johnson, one of the greatest receivers of all time, the Lions have had their fair share of excellent pass catchers, including a unit that set records in the 1990s, players that helped the team to three championships in the 1950s as well as one of the game’s first great receiving tight ends during the 1960s.

This list is mine, of course, and is hardly definitive. Major props to pro-football-reference.com for being the best place to find stats and data.
