Calvin Johnson. 1. player. 50. . Wide Receiver. 2007-2015

It should come as no surprise that Megatron stands alone at the top of this list. Drafted out of Georgia Tech with the second overall pick in the 2007 draft, Johnson was the most important piece in the Lions’ progression from cellar dwellers to competitors, other than perhaps quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Johnson’s penchant for making the impossible catch caught the attention of the nation and he somehow managed to seemingly one-up himself on a near-weekly basis.

Johnson holds the NFL’s record for most receiving yards in a season, picking up 1,961 yards in 2012 as the Lions reached the playoffs for the first time in over a decade. He had over 1,000 receiving yards in seven of his nine seasons, including the last six of his career.

He owns just about every major Detroit receiving record, including career yards (11,619), touchdowns (83) and receptions (731).
