Detroit Lions preseason 2017: How to watch the games

The Detroit Lions are ready to kick off their 2017 preseason schedule. Here is how you can watch all four games leading up to the 2017 regular season.

Preseason play for the Detroit Lions in 2017 gets started with a road game at the Indianapolis Colts. The Lions’ full 2017 preseason schedule is as follows:

Aug. 13, 1:30 p.m. ET – at Colts
Aug. 19, 7:30 p.m. ET – vs. Jets
Aug. 25, 7:00 p.m. ET – vs. Patriots
Aug. 31, 7:00 p.m. ET – at Bills

Each of the Lions’ four preseason games will air live on WJBK Channel 2 in Detroit. Fans outside the Metro Detroit viewing area may be able to find the game live on a local Lions preseason television affiliate.

Fans looking to watch on an affiliate will want to check their local listings to ensure the game will be shown live and that the game isn’t subject to a local blackout.

The Lions-Colts game will also air live nationally on NFL Network. The NFL also has a live streaming option for out-of-market fans via NFL Game Pass.

In addition to the live broadcasts, NFL Network will air replays of each of the team’s four preseason games. The NFL Network replay schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, Aug 16 — 4 a.m. ET

Week 2 vs. Jets
Monday, Aug. 21 — 2 a.m. ET
Wednesday, Aug. 23 — 10 a.m. ET
