Detroit Pistons: Bold predictions for the 2017-2018 season

3. Luke Kennard has a 30 point game
Summer League made me fall in love with Luke Kennard‘s game. I know that he wasn’t playing against top-tier talent, but he was still against NBA caliber players. And Luke looked sharp out there.
But what I, and I’m sure many others were interested in, was his scoring ability. Whether it was driving to the hoop or shooting the long ball, Kennard looked smooth.
That pure scoring ability and beautiful shooting stroke should start some Kennard hot streaks this season. And who’s to say that at least once that hot streak doesn’t get insanely hot?
Kennard might be the best shooter on this team already, and I don’t think it’ll take him long to be a rotation guy. He has 82 games to make this prediction a reality, and after seeing what I saw this summer, I like my odds.
