Wide Receiver

Start: Stefon Diggs (vs. New Orleans, ADP: 31st)

Diggs is fast and good at football. No one else in the Minnesota receiving corps or New Orleans secondary is much of either of those things. Diggs will be Sam Bradford‘s primary deep threat in a game that will likely be a shootout of sorts with the Vikings playing some catch-up. A big game could be in the works.

Sit: Keenan Allen (at Denver, ADP: 18th)

Allen is going to face one of the league’s best secondaries as the primary target on Sunday. He’ll get a few looks by default, but I expect Denver to keep him pretty well bottled-up.

Pickup: Zay Jones (vs. New York Jets, 9% available)

Jones is probably on a roster in your league already, but it’s worth checking. He’s one of my favorite semi-deep sleepers of the season. He’ll be the primary target in Buffalo’s offense right away with Anquan Boldin‘s retirement and that alone means he’s worth a flier. There really isn’t anyone worth picking up who is available in a lot of leagues this week (unless you’re really excited about Tyler Lockett and Sterling Shepard). Jones will likely be the primary target for Tyrod Taylor and that’s worth something.

Drop: No one, it’s week one

There isn’t anyone with less than 50% availability who shouldn’t be on a roster right now. That will change, of course, but right now everyone who is on a roster seems like they should be on one.
