The Michigan football team will return home to the Big House to take on Cincinnati. Here’s how you can find the game on TV or streaming online.
The Michigan football team will play their home opener on Saturday when the Cincinnati Bearcats come to the Big House for a non-conference matchup.
The Wolverines started the season with a bang last week, knocking off No. 17 Florida 33-17. The 16-point margin easily covered the spread but still wasn’t indicative of Michigan’s dominance. The Gators accumulated less than 200 yards of total offense, were held to just 11 yards on the ground, and managed to score just three of their 17 points on offense.
The Florida defense returned two Wilton Speight interceptions for touchdowns (both were returned 45+ yards) to keep the game close into the third quarter. Michigan cleaned up the mistakes in the second half — outscoring Florida 20-0 after the break — and rolled to an easy victory.
This week’s game should represent a much easier challenge. The Cincinnati Bearcats won their opener 26-14, a fact that is less than impressive considering their opponent was FCS Austin Peay. Cincinnati comes into the game as huge underdogs; Michigan will look to use the game as an opportunity to clean up some flaws that the Florida game exposed.
This could be a good opportunity for the Wolverines to go deep into their depth chart at multiple positions as they try to keep the regulars healthy and give the younger rotation players additional reps.
