Do you want to win at fantasy football in week five? Of course you do! Maybe these players can help. Maybe they won’t, but I’m sure they’ll do their best.

When I was a kid, I got a PS2 and Madden 2005 for Christmas. Best Christmas present I ever got. That was the year of the hit stick and individual pre-snap player assignments and it’s still the best game in the series.

Anyway, I played a lot of franchise mode when I was a kid. One of the features in the 2005 version of franchise mode was a radio show hosted by Tony Bruno that would play in the background while you were navigating the menus.

I remember that after the first four games of the season were done, Bruno’s radio show that week would start with him saying “can you believe we’re on week five already!?” Now, every football season when week five rolls around I remember Tony Bruno’s incredulous response to the passage of a month, and I chuckle to myself.

Week five!

Once again, here’s how this works. Picks!
