Start: Eli Manning (vs. Los Angeles Chargers, 40.7% start percentage)

Are the Giants competent all of a sudden? Manning has scored six touchdowns in two games and it looks like he might actually have four decent pass catchers on his team. The Chargers’ secondary isn’t bad, but I’m not sure it has the… depth to stop the Giants? Is that a real question?

Sit: Deshaun Watson (vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 54% start percentage)

Deshaun Watson is everything you want a young quarterback to be: he’s fun to watch, he loves to play football and he seems like a nice guy. He’s also a rookie, and rookies shouldn’t be starting for your fantasy football team against the Kansas City Chiefs, who have given up four passing touchdowns so far this season and shut down Tom Brady in week one.

Pickup: Carson Palmer (at Philadelphia Eagles, on a roster in 53% of leagues)

If you have Drew Brees, Matt Ryan or Kirk Cousins and need a bye week fill-in, your options will depend on your league. 19 quarterbacks are on teams in 50% or more of leagues, which means there aren’t many guys left who will be available in most leagues, which is why I’m okaying Palmer in this spot at 53%. The Eagles have given up around 1,200 passing yards to opponents in their first four weeks, including 366 yards and three touchdowns to the anemic New York Giants offense.

Palmer has thrown as many touchdowns as interceptions so far this season (five). However, he’s a high-volume passer who will pick up a lot of yards and probably throw a couple of touchdowns in this game to offset a probable interception.

Drop: No one.

If you’ve held on to Andrew Luck for this long, you might as well keep him on your bench for the next couple of weeks. Other than Luck, there isn’t anyone else on more than 50% of rosters who shouldn’t be.
