The Michigan State Spartans will look to extend their conference winning streak as they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on the road on Saturday.

The Michigan State Spartans will try to remain undefeated in conference as they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Sunday.

The Spartans come into Saturday 4-1 after stunning their in-state rival Michigan Wolverines last week in a thunderstorm. Now ranked #21 in the country, the Spartans, led by sophomore Brian Lewerke, will look to move to 3-0 in Big Ten play.

The Golden Gophers are looking for their first conference win after losses to Maryland and Purdue. The Gophers play a run-first offense, running backs Rodney Smith and Shannon Brooks combining for over 700 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, but the Conor Rhoda–Tyler Johnson has been effective as well, the latter hauling in 17 passes from the former for 366 yards and three touchdowns.

TCF Bank Stadium – Minneapolis, Minn.

Game time: Kickoff is at 8:10 ET.

Line: The Spartans are a four-point favorite and the over/under is 40. ESPN gives the Spartans a 51.2% chance of winning.

Series History: The Spartans lead the all-time series 29-17, including wins in the last four matchups, although the two haven’t met since the Spartans’ 14-3 win in 2013.

TV: The game will be nationally broadcast on Big Ten Network, with Brandon Gaudin, Glen Mason and Elise Menaker on the call.

Radio: George Blaha and Jason Strayhorn will have the call for the Spartan Network for free on air and online. The game can also be streamed through the SSN Mobile App with a subscription.

Live Stream: The game will be available for streaming on BTN2Go with a subscription.

Weather: 64 degrees and rain at kickoff, with a chance of thunderstorms later on… oh, gosh, no.
