The Arizona Cardinals play the Los Angeles Rams. The Lions have defeated the Cardinals already this season, and do not play the Rams in 2017. Because the Lions hold the head to head tiebreaker in a wildcard race against the Cardinals, Lions fans should be cheering for the Cardinals to knock off the Rams.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Buffalo Bills. Tampa Bay would even themselves up with the Lions by virtue of a win this week. There is no downside of significance for a Bills victory. This is a cut and dry opportunity to cheer for the Bills.

The Cleveland Browns are locked in a battle with the Tennesee Titans. For the strength of victory and strength of schedule tiebreaker purposes, it is better for the Lions if the Browns win this game. The Browns come to Detroit in week ten, while the Lions and Titans do not play this season.
