Michigan State football at Northwestern: Game time, TV, radio, live stream
The #16 Michigan State Spartans will visit the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday and try to remain unbeaten in conference.
The #16 Michigan State Spartans bring a four-game conference winning streak and a share of the Big Ten East lead into Evanston, Ill. on Saturday when they take on the Northwestern Wildcats.
Sophomore Brian Lewerke and the Spartans’ run-first offense have been just efficient enough to win games, backed by a defense that has given up 14 points per game since the conference season began.
The Wildcats are 2-2 in conference and are coming off a 17-10 overtime win over the Iowa Hawkeyes a week ago. Both of their losses came against top ten Big Ten opponents: the #10 Wisconsin Badgers and #4 Penn State Nittany Lions. Senior running back Justin Jackson paces the Wildcats’ running game with 603 yards and six touchdowns, but their passing game is much less consistent, as junior Clayton Thorson has thrown nine interceptions to eight touchdowns.
