It’s Thanksgiving Day 2017 and the Detroit Lions are set to host the Minnesota Vikings for this year’s Thanksgiving Classic. A Lions game on Turkey Day always has a bigger feel than the usual regular season game and today’s game is certainly no exception.
Not only are the Lions welcoming a division opponent in to town for the holiday, the outcome of today’s game could go a long way toward determining who wins the NFC North. Now two games behind the Vikings, the Lions would not only pick up a game on the Vikings with a win today but also would secure a tiebreaker advantage by virtue of a season sweep.
