After another clutch win last week, the Detroit Lions are playing in another must-win game in week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Detroit Lions are winning these games that they need to win. And this week they head to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals and try to keep their playoff hopes alive. Let’s look into some things to key in on this week.

1. Slay vs. Green

Darius Slay has been all kinds of lockdown this season. AJ Green is great, but if you follow Slay on social media, you know that he’s confident in his own game. So this will be the premier matchup from this week’s game.

Slay had one of the best games of his career last week, and I think he’s going to come near that yet again. If Slay shuts down Green I’m not sure how you can’t call him the best corner in the league.

2. (M)atthew Stafford (VP)

It’s the end of the season and the real big push towards MVP. If Matthew Stafford has another stellar game and leads the Lions to another win, I don’t know how he’s not in the conversation for the MVP.

As a fan just be excited to see Stafford have a hot game. Maybe even don’t wish for a running game until 2018, because I for one would love to see Stafford get all of the stats.

This might be a stretch, but hey I’m sure there have been some less deserving MVPs before.

3. Lions Offensive Line

The Bengals have a strong defensive line, and the Lions offensive line is beat up. It could be a long day for the offensive if the Lions can’t block. This could be a bad look right from the start, so maybe do a little extra mental preparation for this one.

Here, I’ll do my best and help. Wow, these guys are backups, yet they are holding up a little I guess. Can you imagine how well the Lions will be when everybody is healthy? Probably playoff bound, if not Super Bowl bound. Wow. I love this team.

I really hope that helped. If it didn’t uh at least you have the holidays to lighten you up.
