NBA All-Star Game 2018: Start time, TV, live stream, rosters
By Zac Snyder
The NBA’s best, including the Detroit Pistons’ Andre Drummond, are on display today in the 2018 NBA All-Star game between Team LeBron and Team Steph.
NBA All-Star weekend comes to a close with the headlining event: the 2018 NBA All-Star game. Gone for this year is the traditional East vs. West format in favor of two squads put together in fantasy draft format by team captains LeBron James and Stephen Curry.
Team LeBron found itself bit by the injury bug. While all 12 players voted into the game that ended up on Team Stephen are healthy and will participate, Team LeBron required four injury replacements, including Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond. DeMarcus Cousins, Kevin Love, John Wall and Kristaps Porzingas were all to team up with James until sustained injuries over the last several weeks leading up to the game.
Their loss is Drummond’s gain as Pistons fans will have extra motivation to tune in. Goran Dragic, Kemba Walker and Paul George also gain as they were initially left out of the All-Star Game but made their way in as injury replacements.
Will that put team LeBron at a disadvantage as their team has to dip deeper in the All-Star pool? Does it even matter since the game is mostly just a highly athletic open gym? We’ll see, but we can count on lots of points, big dunks, some extra showmanship and not a lick of defense.
Here is all the important information for tonight’s showcase.
