The Detroit Tigers have announced their seat packages and event nights for the 2018 season. New seat packages and group rates are available.

The Detroit Tigers have announced their new seating packages, and schedule of special dates at Comerica Park. There are no shortage of interesting events. One might draw the conclusion that the organization thinks they might need to give people a reason to attend beyond the play of the Miguel Cabrera and Nicholas Castellanos. It’s no secret that the Tigers are in a full on rebuild. Here are some of the reasons the team is giving fans to come to the park.

The Tigers are offering a two tiered “digital pass.” This allows you to pay a monthly fee to attend every game. The fees are $29.99 for standing room, $49.99 for a seat. These packages guarantee entry, but not a specific seat to every game. Tickets are delivered digitally.

New group opportunities for bachelor or bachelorette parties come with commemorative shirts. One of your group can throw out the first pitch, or the entire group can line up on the field. High School Bands and cheer teams can do their things before the game.

If you want to bring a group of kids under 14 the team has put forth a few options. They could get on the field and line up with the team for the anthem, high five the team’s relief pitchers as they head to the bullpen before the game, or one of the kids can start off the game with “play ball.”

There will be a couple Bark at the Park nights, May 14 and September 17 and Winter Sausage Polish American night returns on May 25. The team has also added some event nights to their slate. Princess Day on May 27, and Game of Thrones Night on July 6 are the most inventive. Post Game Fireworks shows will occur every Friday night between May 25 and September 21, assuming the weather cooperates. There are several opportunities to double up with a theme and fireworks to maximize the bang for your buck.

There are 19 giveaway games, a beefed up menu at the park, a charity 50/50, and if you want to propose to your significant other: a message on the scoreboard after the final out of the third inning costs $100.
