Since taking over for the Detroit Pistons, Stan Van Gundy has made a lot of roster moves. So why not create a full team based on these traded away players.

Earlier this week I dipped into the Brandon Jennings injury that ended up changing the entire future of this current Detroit Pistons team. Since then President of Basketball Operations Stan Van Gundy and GM Jeff Bower have made a plethora of trades. So many in fact, a full starting lineup could be made from them. And that’s exactly what I did.

Point Guard: Spencer Dinwiddie

Spencer Dinwiddie never seemed comfortable with the Pistons. He was traded off to the Chicago Bulls for Cameron Bairstow, who didn’t last to the regular season for the Pistons. So he was traded away for nothing.

Since then Dinwiddie has been a baller for the Brooklyn Nets. He’s still young at just 24 years old, has great size, and can hit all the shots you want your guard to hit. He may not be the star you hope for point guard but he can definitely start for a team and get buckets.

Maybe in another life, Dinwiddie is the backup for the Pistons right now, and all the time without Reggie Jackson wouldn’t have been so tough. He just needed playtime to actually grow, sadly he had to get that somewhere else.

Honorable mentions: Brandon Jennings, D.J. Augustin.
