Round 2

Bryan has picked up steam as a very popular option for the Lions in the first round so picking him here simultaneously feels like really good value and really unlikely to happen. There is a lot to like about the thought of Bryan donning the Honolulu blue and silver, not matter where it happens (if it does happen).

Bryan’s game is predicated on his superior athleticism over technique and feel for the game so he may not be an instant impact player. That’s OK for the Lions considering they have A’Shawn Robinson and Akeem Spence. Bryan can be used more situationally as he learns to refine his game under Patricia, defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni and defensive line coach Bo Davis.

The hope would be for Bryan to be part of the rotation early, flash some potential that would have the Lions excited to see more and more, then step into a prominent role in 2019.
