Which Detroit team will be next to win a championship?

Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions or Detroit Pistons? Which Detroit team will be the next to win a championship?
The Detroit sports scene can’t boast the championship history of some other cities. That being said, fans in Detroit mostly haven’t had to endure long championship droughts. Between the Detroit Lions, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers, there is usually at least one team at or near a championship level. Consider the following decade-by-decade championship history for these four teams.
1930s: Lions (1), Red Wings (2), Tigers (1)
1940s: Red Wings (1), Tigers (1)
1950s: Red Wings (4), Lions (3)
1960s: Tigers (1)
1970s: None
1980s: Pistons (1), Tigers (1)
1990s: Red Wings (2), Pistons (1)
2000s: Red Wings (2), Pistons (1)
2010s: ?
Aside from the 1970s, Detroit sports fans have had at least one championship to celebrate in each decade going back to the 1930s. Unfortunately, we’re now late in the decade of the 2010s and we haven’t seen a championship since the Detroit Red Wings hoisted the Stanley Cup in the summer of 2008. Our teams are at risk of giving the 1970s some company.
That begs the question: which Detroit sports team will be the next to bring home a championship?
Unfortunately there isn’t a clear-cut answer. All four of our teams have some things going in their favor but all four also face challenges. So who might it be?
Next: Red Wings?
