The Detroit Lions have a strong talented roster. There are several players who could make the Pro Bowl for the first time in their career this year.

Last year only two Detroit Lions made the Pro Bowl, Darius Slay, and T.J Lang; and Lang made it as an alternate. The Lions don’t get much love with national experts and fans when it comes to the Pro Bowl. The Lions sport elite talent year in and year out, but because of the franchise’s history of futility, they constantly get overlooked.

Here are a few of those players that could make their first Pro Bowl this year.
