The Detroit Lions have one more game to go to finish out their preseason. Let’s see who is in and who is out for the final 53 man roster.

The Detroit Lions preseason is on the verge of ending. With two losses and one win, they will play their final game against the Cleveland Browns. Most of the players have impressed the coaches enough to earn a spot on the roster. Others have some work to do.

The Lions coaching staff probably already know who is going to make up majority of the final roster. While those players are safe, the others will be on the outside looking in come Sep 1 when the final cuts are due. They will have one final chance to prove it to the coaches at their last preseason game.

The game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a mixed bag of good and bad. The first team offense was only able to put up six points in the first half. Thanks to late heroics from the offensive backups they were able to put up 33 points and pull out the victory.

The defense was able to bring pressure against the Bucs leading towards their first sack of the preseason. It wasn’t all unicorns and rainbows though. There were plenty of miscues and poor play from the some of the supposed starters that led to a lot of big plays.

With one week to go, here are the five players who just barely make it and five players who probably have their fate already sealed.
