WR | Kenny Golladay | at Raiders | $7,600

Have a day, Kenny Golladay!  Last week it was Kenny’s turn to shine against the New York Giants in Detroit.  The week before, it was Marvin Jones going off.  As I’ve mentioned in Matthew Stafford’s write-up, I expect this game to be a shootout.

The Oakland Raiders are terrible at defending the pass as they give up the 30th most passing yards per game.  Golladay is a big-play threat for Detroit, and he’s recorded 2 touchdowns in two of his last four games.

I expect at least one score from Kenny today, but he has the potential for more.  Expect the Lions passing attack to be potent today in Oakland.  Play Golladay in all of your fantasy formats as high ceiling WR2.

WR | Tyrell Williams | vs Lions | $6,300

Tyrell Williams, the former Charger, is Jon Gruden’s number one receiver this season after ridding themselves of the diva in Antonio Brown.  Williams runs those routes designed for Brown in Gruden’s offense, leaving him with around 7 targets a game.

Gruden loves to run the football with his rookie workhorse Josh Jacobs which allows for the deep play-action attempts to Williams or Waller.

Williams hasn’t been a vast yardage guy to this point of the season, but he’s missed time due to injury.  One thing to note is that he’s scored a touchdown in every game he’s played this season.  He’s played five games and scored five touchdowns.  He’s yet to record multiple scores in a game this year, but that could change today against the Lions secondary in which gives up the most yardage in all of football.

Detroit will be without their best safety Tracy Walker and their all-pro corner Darius Slay is questionable.  Detroit was gouged by the Giants through the air last week, allowing a player named Darius Slayton two scores. Play Tyrell Williams as a high ceiling lower WR2 or excellent WR3 in all formats today.

WR | Danny Amendola | at Raiders | $6,000

I told you it would be a cumbersome Lions/Raiders fantasy football day.  If the game is indeed a shootout, there will be plenty of points to be had by both teams.

The second-biggest offseason addition for the Detroit Lions only behind Justin Coleman, Amendola, is starting to emerge as Matthew Stafford’s favorite third-down pass catcher. Danny Amendola has recorded back to back 8 catch games for the Lions.

Two weeks ago, he was targeted 11 times and totaled 105 yards. Last week he was a perfect 8 for 8 recording 95 yards.  He’s not a player Matt Stafford prefers in the redzone, but there is a chance Amendola can break on of those crossing routes from the 25 or 30-yard line taking it to the house.

He will likely be targeted 10 times today and should be good for 13-16 fantasy points, even without a score.  But if he happens to score, he should go for over 20 fantasy football points.  At that price, 20 points are terrific.  Fire up Amendola as a volume catch WR3.
