TE | Hunter Henry | vs. Green Bay | $6,400

I love plugging in Hunter Henry on a weekly basis.  He’s usually heavily targeted by veteran quarterback Philip Rivers.  He’s averaging 13.5 fantasy football points since returning from another knee injury he suffered in week one of the regular season.

More from Detroit Jock City

Henry hasn’t scored a touchdown in either of the last weeks, expect him to find pay dirt today against the Green Bay Packers.  Alexander is expected to blanket Keenan Allen today, leaving plenty of targets for Austin Ekeler out of the backfield and tight end Henry.

Mike Williams has the potential to have a big game today, but he comes with a lot of risk.  He’s anything but a consistent fantasy producer.  Play Hunter Henry today with confidence as I expect the Chargers to be chasing Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on the scoreboard for the majority of the day.

Flex | Josh Jacobs | vs Lions | $7,200

Back to the well for the last time.  Again, it’s a fantasy football dream to have a shootout, and if the Lions/Raiders game goes as expected, there will be plenty of points to go around.

While the Detroit Lions were able to slow Saquon Barkley last week, Josh Jacobs proves to be another tough task.  The Lions held Barkley to a mere 64 rushing yards last week, but in addition to that, he totaled 8 catches for 79 yards and a score.

The good thing for Detroit is that Jacobs doesn’t catch the football much.  He usually only gets targeted a maximum of 3 times a game.  The only way he does damage today through the air will be on a successful screen pass.

Expecting this to be a shootout, there should be an opportunity for Jacobs to find the endzone finishing one of the drives for Oakland.  He only ran for 66 yards last week against Houston, but before that, he recorded back to back 120-plus rushing yard games against Chicago and Green Bay.  Fire Jacobs up as a very solid RB2 against the worst rushing defense in all of football.

Defense | Pittsburgh Steelers | vs Colts | $3,900

For this price, the Steelers are an excellent play today.  The Colts are expected to be without their all-pro wide receiver, T.Y Hilton.  Marlon Mack is an excellent runner, but will he be able to move the football against a stacked box?

The Steelers defense hasn’t been as productive as they’ve been in years past, but hoping they produce today for only $3,900 allows for better picks at premier positions.

The Steelers allow plenty of yards, 293 per game.  Yet they allow 21.4 points a game.  Without Hilton available today, it could be one of those 14-13, 21-17 type games.  I don’t expect a shootout, which usually bodes well when playing defenses.
