Reason #2:  The Detroit Tigers are finally calling up prospects to the big leagues.

The Detroit Tigers fans should be thankful that the organization is finally starting to work through some of its talents. As the organization has trudged through this rebuild, they have finally gotten to the point where they are starting to call some of the “big-name” prospects up.

In 2020, the Tigers made the monumental announcement that brought up Casey Mize, Isaac Paredes, and Tarik Skubal to the big leagues. All of them made their big league debuts, but that was not all.

The Tigers also had players like Beau Burrows, Daz Cameron, Kyle Funkhouser, and Derek Hill make debuts over the course of the 2020 season. It seems like the organization will start allocating chances to these younger talents who will get a chance to prove themselves.

The prospects are getting their opportunities to prove themselves in big league spots and show they belong or show that they are not going to live up to expectations. After a tough stretch of watching a horrifying on the field product, this is at least a glimpse of the future.

While the win column may not be filling up, these youngsters are strutting their stuff, and fans get a taste of the future and what it could look like as the Tigers call these players up and give them chances.

So, for fans who are bearing with the rebuild and are tired of watching losing, a taste of what’s to come from these youngsters who are finally getting into games is something to be thankful for with the Detroit Tigers.
