48. . Running Back. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Leonard Fournette. 1. player

Injuries to 9-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers have running back Leonard Fournette poised for a considerable workload on Saturday. Fournette is expected to start again in place of Ronald Jones who has missed time as of late due to an illness.

In Week 15 Fournette totaled 14 carries for 49-yards and two touchdowns along with three catches off of five targets for 16-yards.

In Week 16 Fournette goes up against the Detroit Lions, whose defense has allowed opposing running backs to score multiple times in a game on seven different occasions.

Kansas City Chiefs. Le'Veon Bell. 2. player. 124. . Running Back

The Kansas City Chiefs usual starting running back, Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been ruled out this week after suffering a hip injury vs the New Orleans Saints in Week15. This opens the door for a boost in opportunities for Le’Veon Bell, including those on the goal-line.

Bell should not need 25+ carries to post good fantasy football numbers on Sunday. The Chiefs offense will be moving the ball and their opponents this week, the Atlanta Falcons, have allowed opposing running backs 100-total-yards or more in three straight games with Bell looking to make it four in Week 16.
