3. Austin Meadows, OF 

Was this the worst Tigers trade of all-time? Isaac Paredes had a breakout year this season while Meadows has played *checks notes* 42 TOTAL games in a Tigers uniform due to anxiety.

Meadows is a talented and promising player who’s still just 28-years-old, but he’s only played in 100+ games twice in seven seasons.

The last time Meadows played close to a full season was in 2021 with Tampa Bay when he recorded a .772 OPS and 2 wins above replacement. That’s exactly what the Tigers need, but they may never see it come to fruition.

I’m not one to disregard someone’s mental health, but the organization needs him on the field, and it’s probably best that they part ways if he’s still not ready to compete.
