4. Tim Patrick, WR

After missing the 2022 and 2023 seasons with ACL and Achilles tears, respectively, Tim Patrick decided to attempt his NFL comeback with the Lions. The former Utah receiver had recorded back-to-back 700-yard seasons before injuries sidelined him for two years, leaving the Motor City optimistic he could return to that form.

Patrick failed to make an offensive impact early in the season, turning 15 receptions into just 203 receiving yards without a score in his first nine games. Things became more promising between Weeks 12 and 15 when the 31-year-old WR tallied 16 catches for 176 yards and three TDs in four games.

For reference, that would put him on pace for a 68-748-13 stat line during a 17-game season. Sustainable at this stage of his career? Probably not, but that didn't stop Lions fans from feeling like the battle-proven pass-catcher had finally turned the page.

Nevertheless, it didn't take long for Patrick to come back to earth. The San Diego, CA native only recorded two catches and 15 yards in his final three regular-season games despite playing 122 offensive snaps during that stretch. His woes continued into the playoffs as he caught just 1-of-4 targets for 22 yards in the loss to the Commanders.

While he was once a reliable receiving threat, Patrick no longer fits that bill. Back-to-back serious injuries completely derailed his career and it's tough to imagine anyone seeing much value in him as a free agent this offseason.
