The Detroit Lions are expected to be one of the top teams in the entire NFL once the 2025 regular season begins, as they look to build upon the success the franchise enjoyed this past year. This anticipation has led to some familiar faces making appearances at the team's training camp.

On Wednesday, one of the team's biggest stars of the last decade, both literally and figuratively, made an appearance at training camp. According to a team spokesperson, via Kory Woods of MLive.com, this was the future Pro Football Hall of Famer's first visit to the Lions' practice facility since 2014.

Ndamukong Suh Attends Lions Practice for 1st Time in Over a Decade

Ndamukong Suh was a beast of a defensive lineman during his time in Detroit. He made life for quarterbacks across the league miserable by living in the opposing backfield. After recording 36 sacks, 66 tackles for loss, and 98 QB hits over his first five seasons with the Lions, Suh wanted to cash in as a free agent, but Detroit's front office and the former No. 2 overall pick were unable to agree on a contract.

This ultimately led to Suh joining the Miami Dolphins in 2015, and the lineman, essentially, turned his back on Detroit from that day forward. That is, until Wednesday's appearance at training camp.

Before Lions fans get their hopes up, Woods went on to note that, per his knowledge, Suh is in attendance as working media. Despite his recent retirement announcement, this is not the first visit that leads to the former Nebraska Cornhuskers standout returning to the NFL and suiting up for Detroit one more time.

His appearance at training camp signals that Suh has moved on from whatever ill will may have been felt following his dispute with the way the front office prioritized deals for Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson over him.

Should this, finally, be the year where Detroit gets over the hump and appears in the franchise's first Super Bowl, hopefully Suh will make his way back to the Motor City for that celebration, much like he did on Wednesday during the team's training camp.
