Huge Bills Injury News Hurts Lions Ahead of Big Week 15 Showdown
There's an exciting showdown that will take place in Week 15. The Detroit Lions (12-1) host the Buffalo Bills (10-3) in a battle between two powerhouses on Sunday.
These are some of the best teams in the NFL and they square off in a big-time contest on Sunday. The Lions head into this matchup on an 11-game win streak, while the Bills are coming off a disappointing 44-42 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Injury news has emerged throughout the week and the latest one is good news for Buffalo. Which is bad for the Lions.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Bills WR Keon Coleman (wrist) and TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) are expected to practice in full on Wednesday.
Coleman hurt his wrist in the final minute of the Week 9 contest against the Miami Dolphins. That forced him to miss the last four games. Meanwhile, Kincaid hurt his knee in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts and has been sidelined for the past three matchups.
The Bills getting these two weapons back in the fold will elevate their offense and give the Lions more players to worry about. Coleman has 22 catches for 417 yards and three touchdowns this season. As for Kincaid, he has 34 receptions for 356 yards and two scores.
Buffalo's offense runs through Josh Allen, who is playing like an MVP this season. Last week without Coleman and Kincaid, Allen threw for 342 yards, rushed for 82 yards, and scored six total touchdowns. Now, it looks like he will be getting two more playmakers at his disposal.
The Lions have an explosive offense of their own that can put up a boatload of points when needed. Detroit is second in the NFL in total offense (394.8) but fourth in passing offense (243.8) and rushing offense (151.1). They are also first in the NFL in scoring offense (32.1).
They will need their offense to be ready to play as the Bills are likely getting reinforcements on Sunday. Detroit is fighting to secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC, so every game left on the schedule is crucial.
