It hasn't been the best couple of days for the Detroit Lions and their fans. Last Sunday, the Lions lost to the Buffalo Bills 48-42.

Not only did the loss snap the Lions' 10-game win streak but they also had multiple starters go down. Jahmyr Gibbs' running mate David Montgomery went down with an MCL injury and his status for the remainder of the season is in doubt.

Thankfully, Detroit is still the No. 1 seed in the NFC and has a contest against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. While the preparation for this NFC North showdown has begun, Gibbs was a guest on the Up & Adams Show on Thursday. In that interview, Gibbs took a shot at the Dallas Cowboys.

Lions News: Jahmyr Gibbs Takes Jab at Dallas Cowboys

During the interview, Gibbs told Kay Adams that during the draft process, he said he didn't want to play for a team in the north due to the cold weather. For his sake, the Lions play in a dome so he doesn't have to deal with playing in cold weather.

Later in the conversation, he expressed he would be upset if he was a member of the Cowboys right now.

"Imagine if I was a Cowboy right now? I'd be so sick."

Jahmyr Gibbs

In November, Gibbs was on The Richard Sherman Podcast and he said the Cowboys had interest in drafting him in 2023. Dallas told Gibbs if he was on the clock at pick No. 26, they would have selected him.

That never happened, as the Lions snagged him with the 12th overall pick.

Gibbs' statements show that the Cowboys don't have the same swagger and juice that Detroit does. The only consistent thing that happens in Dallas is Jerry Jones' bold statements and wild expectations from the fanbase that they will win the Super Bowl every year.

The Cowboys do have superstars in Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, and CeeDee Lamb but it hasn't translated to big-time success. Especially this season, as they own a 6-8 record and are slated to miss the playoffs.

The Lions are one of the best teams in the NFL and are Super Bowl contenders. Dallas can't say the same and Gibbs is thrilled to be in the Motor City.
