The Detroit Lions will head into the 2025 season as one of the top teams in the league and are expected to be Super Bowl contenders.
They used the NFL draft as an outlet to add more talent to the roster, and Detroit's third-round pick, Isaac TeSlaa, wasted no time getting in the good graces of his teammates and the fanbase.
During an appearance on the "St. Brown" podcast, TeSlaa was asked to list all the teams inside the NFC North. Equanimeous asked TeSlaa if he hates Green Bay, and TeSlaa quickly responded, "I hate the Packers with a passion."
That response resonated with Lions players, and safety Kerby Joseph is definitely a fan. On his X account, he replied to the clip of TeSlaa and wrote, "My type of guy."

The rivalry between Detroit and Green Bay is fierce, and the league knows it. That's why the NFL made these teams square off in Week 1 for the 2025 NFL season.
And Joseph has had his fair share of disputes with the Packers, specifically tight end Tucker Kraft. Last December, Kraft expressed he wasn't a fan of Joseph, considering Joseph's tackles have left a couple of Packers players hurt.
Kraft said, “I might not agree with some of the places he likes to lay contact. He’s taken some of my brothers out of the game and I think about that, too. I get my chance to get my hands on him playing football.”
Prior to the Week 14 bout last season, Kraft and Joseph were seen getting into a jawing match, which was started by Joseph.
He was asked about it in the locker room and said, "You talking about the mac and cheese Kraft? I don’t know who that boy is."
It's obvious Joseph isn't a fan of his bitter division rival, and he's happy that Teslaa is quickly adopting the same hatred for Green Bay as well. These statements only add more fuel to the fire of an already intense rivalry.
