With only five games remaining in the regular season, every matchup for the Detroit Lions is big down the stretch as they seek the No. 1 seed in the NFC. But that's especially the case in Week 14, as Detroit faces the Green Bay Packers in a contest with plenty of division and playoff seeding consequences.

While there's a lot at stake for the 11-1 Lions, the pressure is really on the Packers, who not only trail Detroit but Minnesota as well in the standings despite boasting a 9-3 record. Green Bay is also down in the tiebreaker currently after Dan Campbell's squad walked into Lambeau and easily secured a victory in Week 9.

With how much the Packers are talking before this contest, it appears they're feeling the heat of facing potentially the best team in the conference. And Green Bay's pregame trash talk has continued as this primetime face-off draws closer.

Star Packers safety was asked by reporters about the "Green Bay Sucks" shirt Lions wideout Amon-Ra St, Brown wore prior to their previous showdown in Week 9. He told the media, "I ain't worried about him. We not worried about him." This is after Packers tight end Tucker Kraft sent a threat to Lions safety Kerby Joseph in comments over the weekend.

Suffice it to say, Green Bay is providing Detroit players on both sides of the ball with plenty of bulletin-board material that could come back to bite Matt LaFleur's team.

It's very bold of McKinney to go after St. Brown specifically considering his status as not only one of the Lions' best weapons, but one of the top WRs in the league. He already ranks No. 12 in the league with 828 receiving yards heading into this matchup and is tied for the second-most receiving scores (9), so the Packers very much should be worried about his impact in primetime.

St. Brown has also posted outings of 161 yards and 119 yards in only six games at Ford Field this year, where Thursday's contest happens to take place.

Considering how St. Brown had little trouble getting going at Lambeau last time around -- racking up 7 catches for 56 yards and 1 touchdown -- it'd be no surprise at all if the wideout makes McKinney look foolish with a true blow-up game on TNF.
