The Detroit Lions have one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams lining up on the outside for the offense led by Jared Goff.

Those two have looked the part throughout the preseason and training camp, which shouldn't come as a big surprise given the talent each receiver possesses. What has been a pleasant surprise, though, has been the play of one of their newest teammates in the WR room.

Third-round pick Isaac TeSlaa continued his assault on opposing secondaries during Saturday afternoon's preseason finale against the Houston Texans by scoring his third touchdown of the exhibition campaign. As impressive as the 33-yard score was, it was what TeSlaa elected to do after the fact that has taken the football world by storm, as he hit the worm in the endzone.

Lions' TeSlaa Caps Off Standout Preseason with Special TD Celebration

Former Arkansas Razorbacks wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa has already looked like a threat to take the starting job alongside St. Brown and Williams. This had been a job that veteran Tim Patrick held throughout camp, but performances like the one the rookie is putting on against the Texans will only make the coaching staff want to get him on the field even more.

Entering Saturday's game, TeSlaa had reeled in eight of his 11 targets for 105 yards and two touchdowns. In the first half, the rookie added two more receptions on a pair of targets for 41 receiving yards and the touchdown shown in the video clip above.

There is still a long way to go before TeSlaa can be deemed a steal as Detroit's third-round pick, but based on what he's shown fans and the media thus far, we might not be that far off from having those conversations.
