Its time for the playoffs — Fantasy football playoffs that is! It goes without saying, but now is the time to make the most out all your start ’em, sit ’em decisions. Win and you’re in is the scenario for a majority of fantasy owners in week 15. The championship is within reach, and for those of you that are still in contention — Detroit Jock City is here to help you succeed!

Obviously, nothing is ever a guarantee in fantasy sports, and sometimes even the surest of starters come up short for owners. Last week, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Jimmy Graham were all major disappointments. Hopefully however, that is not the case again this week. New Orleans’ find themselves in a prime matchup against the ailing Chicago Bears and their downright pitiful defense, so I look for them to rebound nicely.

The Philadelphia Eagles were another team that experienced tough times in week 14, and rightfully so. They went up against the defending champion Seattle Seahawks, a team that has suddenly taken on the form of the 85′ Bears. The Seahawks are one of the hottest, if not the hottest team in the NFL right now, and in perfect Seahawk form they are peaking at just the right time. Moving forward, the Eagles get the Dallas Cowboys and then the virtually broken San Francisco 49ers, two favorable matchups on paper.

There are also a few important injuries to make a solid note of this week. Carolina Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton sustained a back injury in a roll-over car accident near Bank of America stadium in Charlotte this week. Derek Anderson will start in his place in week 15. Running back Eddie Lacy and wide receiver Julio Jones are both battling hip injuries, but are hopeful to play.

With those tidbits in mind, let’s get down to business shall we?
