The Detroit Lions taken on the Oakland Raiders in game two of the preseason from Oakland on Saturday night. The Raiders should be fired up for the preseason clash after a controversial week of shared practice with the Dallas Cowboys. The Raiders and Cowboys brawled during practice with each other and fans on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Now the Raiders will look to bully the Lions on their home field at O.Co Coliseum.
The Detroit Lions are experiencing a camp without controversy for the first time in a number os season. Head coach Jim Caldwell has instilled a positive but intense atmosphere that has the team working together and staying healthy.
Although the camp has not been controversial, it is not without its share of storylines. Some of the storylines will play out on as the players take the field on Friday night.

Battle To Be Back-Up
When the Detroit Lions signed Dan Orlovsky in the off-season it was assumed he would occupy the #2 spot on the quarterback depth chart. Kellen Moore may have changed some minds in the game against Cleveland when he led the Lions to victory with a late touchdown.
For his part Dan Orlovsky showed ability to move the ball but failed to put the ball in the endzone.
Both Moore and Orlovsky will get another chance to impress the coaches under the lights in Oakland.
Fairley Dissappointing
Nick Fairley has had a disappointing week in practice. On Tuesday and Wednesday he practiced almost exclusively with the 2nd team and seems to be losing ground to teammate CJ Mosley. Nick Fairley is in the final year of his rookie contract and is hoping to cash in during 2015 free agency.
Mosley will most likely get the start on Friday in Oakland and a great performance could give him a bump on the depth chart.
Healthy Scratches
Don’t expect either Calvin Johnson or Ziggy Ansah to see any playing time in Oakland. The Lions are reluctant to play Calvin Johnson after he has been banged up over the last few seasons. Ziggy Ansah has just been activated from the PUP list and Jim Caldwell has already said he won’t play against the Raiders.
