The Eastern Michigan Eagles will try to rebound from one of the most volatile seasons in recent memory. Head coach Ron English was dismissed in 2013 just before the Western Michigan game for using offensive language in a locker room speech. To lead the program, the Eagles hired former Drake university head coach Chris Creighton.

Crieghton comes to Eastern Michigan will a track record of success and a major change in philosophy. Gone is the conservative run heavy offense employed by the defensive minded Ron English. This season the Eagles are going to open up the passing game and have promised unpredictability on offense.
A change in offensive scheme also means a change in personnel. The Eagles landed LSU transfer Rob Bolden to play quarterback for the Eagles. Sophomore Brogan Roback is expected to start for Eastern Michigan but if he falters looks for Bolden assume the starting job mid-season.

Overall Record: 4-8 MAC Record: 3-5
The Eagles will be an improved football team in 2014 but it wont show much in the record. A very tough preseason schedule combined with a rebuilding year will mean trouble for the Eagles.
Ugliest Loss: At Florida – September 6th
The last MAC team from Michigan to travel to Florida was Central and they got hammered. Now its time for Eastern to trun a trick for the SEC and accept their butt whopping.
Best Win: At Ball State – November 22nd
After back to back losses to their in state rivals the Eagles will bounce back on the road in what looks like a trap game for the Ball State Cardinals.
Against the Rivals
After beating Western at home last year, the Broncos will have their revenge at Waldo Stadium. The Central Michgian Chippewas travle to Rynearson Stadium but the resurgent Chippewa offense will be too much for the Eagles defense to handle to handle.
