Unsung Hero
The Detroit Lions safeties are the true unsung hero’s of the NFL’s top rated defense, particularly Glover Quin. Quin was signed via free agency last off season and has started to show Detroit and the world that when healthy he is as good as anyone on the football field.

He has made numerous big plays and has three interceptions through eight games. His takeaway late in the Lions-Saints game will be fondly remembered by Detroit Lions fans all year long, perhaps longer.
His cohort on the field in James Ihedigbo. Ihedigbo missed the first three games of the season while battling nerve issues, howver once he return he made his presence felt on the field. He has recorded two sacks and forced two fumbles in five games from his strong safety spot.
