Welcome back to Detroit Jock City for our Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 12. All of our fantasy football advice this week resolves around one main thought — making the right choices.

As you’re likely well aware of, the playoffs are right around the corner. That means that it’s time to make some choices, not only with your starting line up, but with your bench as well.

As I mentioned in this weeks Waiver Wire Advice article, this week is the last week for byes, (Pittsburg and Carolina). That means that it’s time to part ways with your WR4 and WR5 and instead pick up your work horse running back’s handcuff. If you’re able to pull this off you provide yourself with a great insurance policy for the post season.

With those things in mind, lets take a look at our quarterbacks for Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Week 12.

Odell Beckham (NYG) vs. Dallas Cowboys – New York Giants rookie wide receiver, Odell Beckham has slowly established himself as the Giants No. 1 wide receiver since the season ending injury to Victor Cruz. Unfortunately though, he hasn’t scored a touchdown in three straight weeks, but is due to get into the endzone this week against the Dallas Cowboys. During that three games stretch he has at least 93 receiving yards, along with at least six catches in each outing.

The last time the rookie wideout faced the Cowboys in Week 7, he had four catches for 34 yards and two touchdowns. Hopefully for Beckham fantasy owners, he can have a similar performance this time around against Dallas. Fortunately for him the Cowboys have allowed four receivers to score or gain at least 100 yards in each of its past four games.

I expect Beckham to stay hot in this matchup.

Josh Gordon (CLE) @ Atlanta Falcons – Flash Gordon returns from his 10 games suspension this week when the Cleveland Browns travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons inside the Georgia Dome. Gordon plans to make the most of his time on the field, as he told former teammate Nate Burleson he’s “going to tear this league up,” per NFL.com.

I expect the Falcons to use No. 1 cornerback Desmond Trufant to shadow Gordon, Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver, Kelvin Benjamin has already torched Trufant. When the two faced off last week Benjamin had nine catches, 109 yards and a touchdown.

To all of you fantasy owner that have been waiting for Gordon’s return to play him, don’t hesitate to start him in his 2014 debut.
