Prediction #2: Brandon Jennings will continue his superstar pace all the way to the end of the season.

Brandon Jennings has torn up the box score and on the court recently. His 24 point, 21 assist game against the Orlando Magic was just another example of how well he’s been playing as of late.

With the departure of Smith, Jennings looks to be a changed man. He’s making solid decisions while looking for and feeding his big men in spectacular fashion.

Though he occasionally takes some questionable shots he’s still averaging a solid 21.3 PPG with 7.5 APG all while shooting 40% from 3 point land.

Jennings will still struggle some games but not nearly to the extent that he did during the Smith-era. With him Jennings would look disinterested and make terrible decisions on the court.

But with the new-look Pistons Jennings has been absolutely turning it on. He will struggle at times but every player in the history of the NBA has those types of stretches.

For this prediction Jennings will continue his recent tear and prove to the critics that he can be a superstar-level point guard. He’s still 25 and with a good coach (like SVG) he will continue to grow and flourish as a leader.

The problems from long ago of selfish basketball will no longer exist and Jennings will look to take that “next step” as a professional NBA basketball player.
