Jon Harris, RHP (Missouri State)

John Manuel of Baseball America has righty pitcher Jon Harris falling to the Tigers at 22 in his morning Mock Draft version 5.1 update. Manuel acknowledges that Harris has a chance to go much, much higher.

"The latest Phil Bickford news has included more than a failed drug test; it also has included rumblings of troubling medical information. The Tigers are still said to be on arms and would be very pleased if Harris, who had a chance to go as high as nine, fell here."

There appears to be quite a bit of disagreement as to where he’ll land. Jim Callis of MLB.com has him going inside the Top 10 whereas Manuel has him here at 22 and Christopher Crawford of Baseball Prospectus has him ranked as the #23 prospect in the draft.

Scout.com’s draft profile of Harris mentions a fastball in the low-to-mid 90s (with good movement) and potential plus pitches in his curveball, slider, and changeup.

Jim Callis: #8 to Chicago White Sox

Kiley McDaniel: #13 to Tampa Bay, ranked #13 overall

Jonathan Mayo: #15 to Milwaukee

Christopher Crawford: ranked #23 overall
