Peppers can play anywhere
The nation’s No. 1 recruit in 2014, Peppers missed most of last season due to an ankle injury against Appalachian State and another leg injury a few weeks later.
Peppers is now ready to prove his worth. He will most likely start the season at free safety, but will also play some corner and nickelback. And don’t forget the possibility of punt and kickoff returns. Offense? Don’t be surprised if Peppers occasionally lines up at wide receiver.
Another grad transfer, Wayne Lyons from Stanford, should step into the cornerback slot opposite Jourdan Lewis.
When Peppers moves to nickel, Jeremy Clark and Dymonte Thomas will get time at free safety.
