Michigan still a respected program

Michigan has already proved to be a different story. U-M has often been an elite college football power—the last time from 1969 to 2007.

That luster, fortunately,  still remains.  Hoke, for all of his shortcomings, had recruiting classes of No. 6 in 2012 and No. 4 in 2013. However, he and his staff couldn’t develop the players fast enough. His 11-2 record in his first season might have been a fluke since the team was also loaded with Rich Rodriguez’s juniors and seniors, and was led by the almost-unstoppable Denard Robinson at quarterback.

So Harbaugh too, has a huge group of underclassmen, but look for the results this year and down the road to be much better.
