Its been a long time since Michigan lost to Indiana—that’s 18 straight years to be exact. The last defeat came in 1987 and the previous one occured in 1967. The Hoosiers finished with a Big Ten mark of 1-7 in 2014, one of the few teams worse than Michigan’s.
Indiana struggled all year despite the play of running back Tevin Coleman. Now a member of the NFL Atlanta Falcons, Coleman is only the third NCAA running back (Larry Johnson, Melvin Gordon) to surpass 2,000 yards in a season, finishing with 2,036 on 2014.
Fortunately, there isn’t a whole lot in the stable to concern Wolverine fans. Also missing from the Indiana lineup is Shane Wynn, who caught 56 passes a year ago. 6-6, 240 lb. QB returns for his senior season hoping to improve on his passing yardage of only 1,151.
Prediction: Michigan 42, Indiana 6
