If the 2015 edition of the Penn State-Michigan rivalry is anything like the last one, the 100,000 or so at University Park could be in for quite a yawn. The 18-13 Michigan win at Michigan Stadium a season ago featured two touchdowns, five field goals and a safety.
Both Penn State and Michigan expect improvement on both sides of the ball. Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg sees an NFL career down the road, but last year’s 12 touchdown, 15 interception resume won’t cut it very long.
Michigan should field the better football team because of a slew of upperclassmen. Penn State is still hurting experience-wise because of the recent NCAA probation.
The problem for the Wolverines might be that they’re looking past Penn State to ‘The Game’ Nov. 28.
Prediction: Penn State 24, Michigan 23.
Next: Ohio State
