In his fifth season on the job, Coach Jerry Kill has rebuilt the Gophers from a 3-9 record in 2011 to a pair of 8-5 seasons in 2013-14.

Minnesota should have a decent year in 2015,

The return of Mitch Leidner at qb will give the Gophers solid QB play.

Leidner threw for 1798 yards a year ago, but he will have to step it up a notch since David Cobb and his 1626 rushing yards have departed.

Minnesota captured the Little Brown Jug a season ago. Cobb, who has graduated, ran for 183 yards while Leidner hit 14 of his 22 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown.

This time will be different as the Wolverines will key on the passing attack,

outlasting the Gophers in an exciting game.

Prediction:  Michigan 31, Minnesota 27.
